High Temperature Flexible Compressed Fibre
Introduction: .
Klinger Thermica was developed to create and easy to use for higher
temperature applications. Thermica has been engineered to have a very
good loadbearing capacity and create a very leaktight seal which meets the
most stringent industry standards. Thermica also possesses the strengths
of a conventional compressed fi bre material which makes it easy to cut and
fl exible.
Applications:
• Thermica is a compressed fi bre material developed for high
temperature service
• Thermica can be used as an alternative to graphite laminates for
applications up to 400° C
Properties:
• Compressed fi bre material which is easy to cut and handle
• Excellent leaktightness
• Excellent thermal stability up to 400° C
• Very good loadbearing capacity and stress relaxation properties
